Simwave has worked with IBT Colledge and McMaster University – St. Joseph’s Hospital to create VR experiences for micro-credential training and Forensic Psychology Training in the past years. I am so glad to be one of the developers implementing some of the experiences in hospitals and care centre scenarios.

There are 5 VR experiences for registered nurses and personal support workers, which include Vital Signs, Safety, Dementia, Palliative Care and Feeding.
My contribution was implementing the interaction in Safety, Palliative Care, and Feeding.

This is a project built from scratch to fulfil the requirements of a wireless experience with a Quest 2 standalone package.

SimWave originally delivered this project of four VR experiences in 2018.
My contributions:
Synchronized the intro/outro of the 4 experiences and Night Shift
Made standalone Quest 2 builds of the 4 old experiences
Encountered packaging errors with the conflict of different versions of Unreal
Solved the issue by reconfiguring NDK/SDK settings
